Hemmings daily email recently sent me this link to the video "For Love Or Money" highlighting the 1970 NHRA finals at the now nonexistent Dallas International Speedway. Some of you may have already received it. I love vintage drag racing footage and photos and thought it was interesting. Prevalently Mopar stuff featuring Ronnie Sox. If you need to have Oldsmobiles to be interested, there is a short blip of two 1970 Olds' at the 12:49 marker.

Now that's drag racing! I love the old Pro Stock cars. It was always my favorite class. They were slow enough that you could actually watch the suspension work off the line. I wonder how many "Pro" racers today could even race a manual trans car? The best of the best back then, probably Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins and a number of others were so fast with a 4 speed, you'd swear they were automatics - the RPM's would barely flair between gears!
