Since it has the metal bulb on the end of the snorkel I think that's on the early end of 1974-80. I've also seen the bulb in plastic. John

The return of the dreaded free mystery air cleaner!!

How are the steel surface gradiation readings on the inside of the snorkel Jamesbo?
I need detailed engineering drawings in several different perspective angles and shipping price quotes by no less than three shippers to The Galapagos Islands via Outer Gdansk to determine if I want to accept it.
With tracking and insurance.

Did somebody get it or did you finally run that thing over with your truck a few times to put it out of it's misery Jamesbo??

The offset hole in the lid shows it's for an HEI.

I see.

But then what do you say if the question actually is "what is this for?"

Jaunty,

Ole buddy,

I give up. I am totally defeated.

I would say, What is it used for? or What is it's purpose?

But my southern drawl and misplacement of modifiers and leaving dangling participles off times [often] leads me to phrases like kinda, woulda, shoulda, oughta, fer

Well, us nawthuners has our issues, too! Like, for example, "what's a metaphor?" Easy. Place to keep the cows in.

That's a pasture down here...

Don't worry Jamesbo- I understand you!

Come to think of it I can understand almost any English dialect, except Scots- which is unusual being as the family is of Highland Scot descent.

I love the differences...

Yankees think "fixin'" means repairing

Good ole boys know "fixin'" means preparing for...

We fixin' to get educated on the original application for the above air cleaner.
