72 rear bumper brackets

Are there any differences between Cutlass and 442 rear bumper brackets. I need ones for a 72 442

thanks Bruce

In 1968-69, the bumper brackets were different for the cutout bumper vs. the non-cutout bumper. The difference was the presence of mounting tabs for the special tail pipe hangers used with the cutout bumper. For the 1970-72 model years, Olds made the bracket the same for both bumper styles.

Note that while you say "442 brackets", I suspect you mean "cutout bumper brackets". Small block 442s did not get the cutout bumper in the 1972 model year. (And awaaaay we go on THIS topic again... )

Nope, should be dead and buried. Don't bring it up and it won't get discussed. Sorta like opening Pandora's box isn't it?
