Assembly manual

Hello all,
I have a 72 olds assembly manual that covers cutlass, cutlass supreme,s,vista and i believe one more model.I bought it at a car show years ago and forgot i had it until i start going through old boxes.
What exactly could I use it for that my repair manual can't help me with?

I use my A/M a lot to see exactly how things were put together, where wires and hoses are routed, how to add in factory options, and second opinions to the service manual. There are quite a few errors such as torque specs for the water pump that I needed a second opinion on.
The service manual will just say remove or reassemble something, but it often does not show enough details that will help you get that pile of parts you have back together in the proper order with nothing left over.
It will often help you find out where that "mystery part" came from that was found on the ground after you got everything apart (or worse, all together...)

The book also gives me great before-bedtime reading!

BTW, why aren't your parking lights on with the headlights??
