Where the torsion rods mount for the rear deck lid there is bracket with 2-3 notches. If I remember right you have to move the rods up on the bracket to get more lift for the deck lid, Right??

The higher notch is higher tension on the A body cars. I think it is the same on all of them.

 

That's what I thought. Been so long since I had to do anything with them I wasn't sure.
