vista lower control arm

Is there a difference between a 68 Cutlass lower control arm and a vista? Rockauto.com has two different part numbers for the lower ball joint. The vista's is K5073 for $75. K5103 is for Cutlass and is $23.

As usual, RockAuto's online catalog is just flat wrong. By the way, those part numbers are for BALL JOINTS, not control arms. K5103 is the correct part for a VC. If you check the other applications for K5073, you will see that they are all FULL SIZE cars, not A-bodies. The listing is incorrect.

And here I was thinking that the VC got a different BJ that was heavier duty or such. I will have to remember this when I get a VC...

Yes I was talking about ball joints. I found it odd that the parts store and rockauto had it wrong. That being said it'd suck to own one of those full size models and pay $75 for a ball jt from rockauto!!

They have such a thing called a 'note pad' that you jot things down so you don't forget later!!

That's because both are getting their data from the same wholesaler's catalog, where the source of the error is.

By the way, if you check applications on RockAuto, you'll find that K5103 IS listed as correct for the same year Buick SportWagon, which is identical to the VC.
