I need to know how to tell the difference between regular front disc brake spindles and front 2 inch drop disc brake spindles ? I think my car had the 2 inch drop spindles on it and I want to get it to the correct height . I will need to replace them if it does.

The drop spindles will have two sets of holes below the wheel centerline. Two are for the caliper bracket/splash shield and two are for the steering arm. On stock height spindles there is only one set, since the caliper bracket/splash shield and steering arms use the same bolts, but the lowering spindles raise the wheel centerline relative to the ball joints and the caliper bracket/splash shield must move up to match.
By the way, the fact that the wheel centerline is raised relative to the ball joints is why lowering spindles can cause the lower control arm to rub on the backside of the wheel for certain wheel styles and diameters.
