boxed lower control arms install

I am installing boxed LCA on my 65 Cutlass. When do I do a final tighting of the bolts? Do I tighten them while car is in the air (no weight) or after it is on the ground(with weight)? Thanks for any and all help. Bassinguy

I leave them snug, lower the car and then support the car by the rear axle. This gives me more room to move around.

All rubber suspension bushing bolts MUST be torqued only when the full weight of the car is on the springs and the suspension is at ride height. At the rear this is easy - just put the jack stands under the axle tubes.

Eric and Joe Thanks for the quick response on how to tighten. I will be doing this later on today. You guys are great with helping other guys with their cars. Joe do you happen to know the torque values? Again Thanks Bassinguy
