Suspension question for '66 Cutlass Conv.

I'm working on a '66 Cuttlass Convertible and have replaced 14x6 rims with 16x8s and P20575R14 tires with 235/55/16s. I have a slight clearance issue with the driver side front tire, passenger side is ok when turning hard and moving in reverse (parking). The springs are original and no doubt tired and sagging. Shocks are questionable at best. My question is does anyone have experience with springs ordered from Year One or OPGI? I thought of going to the 1" drop performance springs offered by these guys, but am afraid I will end up with the same clearance issue. I have no idea what a stock spring ride height would look like. The original spring rate I believe are 327 (front) and 140 (back). Also would appreciate any thoughts on adjustable air shocks like QA1 vs. non adjustable shocks. Thanks in advance!
