Not shown, but I have a fair amount of rust in the left side of this brace (supported by the blue jack) , and both capture nuts broke while separating the frame. And I I have to replace the two braces that go above the frame anyway, so maybe I just replace this too. Is this available for a 71 Cutlass?

 

I haven't seen any repo parts for that. I believe you will have to find a used part.

 

Another question; I'm assuming the braces are held in by spot welds? Any way to see where these are? If not, what's the best way to remove them?
