Rear Control Arms - 65 442

Looking to replace the bushings for the upper/lower rear control arms. The Service manual states the lower control arm bushings are not meant to replaced, the whole arm should be replaced. It states the only bushing to be replaced is the bushing for the upper arms located in the rear axle mount.

1) Am I better off removing the old arms, replacing the bushings, and repainting them. Bushings cost $160
2) Buy new upper and lower control arms with bushings already installed ($337 from Inline Tube - made in USA)

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
