Loose control arm screws

So I was getting my alternator and few other issues sorted out on this 64 starfire, and I noticed this. Maybe the picture shows it, the screw that holds the washer and control arm bushing in place is super loose. Like 1/4 out, almost falling out loose. 3 out 4 uppers were like this, the lower all seem ok.

As the car is new to me I don't have the chassis manuals yet. But I know not long before I bought it got new ball joints and bushings.
How tight as these supposed to be? Just snug on the rubber or a torque vale or what? Maybe some loctite?

Well, tight on the rubber means they just keep squishing the rubber more and more. Or do they bottom out at some point?

They bottom out.

Though I must say I don't remember mine "squishing" all that much.

Got ya. I tightened em up last night but quit when there seemed to be no end in sight. I'll go back and give them a few more turns, I'm probably close to bottom at this point.
