Inner rockers

Inner rockers have a spot which is weak from rust on my 67 Culass. What is the best way to repair as there is very little room between the inner rocker and the frame?

I have found it is hard get advice about rust on any part of the car. I found out the hard way. I cut it out thinking this should be easy. It was a nightmare! Finally I got the floor pains back in. Looks better then I thought it would, but I spent many a day grinding, bondo'in, and sanding inside and out. And several coats of primer and paint inside and underneath. But back to fixing rust in a location like the inside of the rockers by the frame. Man, that is a judgment call, but if you don't mind it. Put a couple coats of POR15 and forget it. Unless you know how to weld yourself, or have a friend you don't mind losing after the fact. You might be able to make a small patch, but like I said, it could be a nightmare waiting to happen. Take care, maybe put up some photos.

Unfortunately, unless the outer rocker is also rusted (so you have access from the outside), it is nearly impossible to properly repair the inner rockers without separating the body from the frame. Sorry.
