Question Hotchkis 1" lowering springs on a 66/67 anyone have them?

Is anybody here with a 66/67 running the Hotchkis 1" Lowering springs front & rear?

Just curious to see a photo of how they look on a 66/67.

I have a new set of their front springs sitting on a shelf... thinking of ordering up the matching rear set and putting it in my car.

When i redid my front suspension 3 years ago I cut 1/2 a coil off the springs and it sat really nice. When i put the new 455 in this fall, with the aluminum heads & headers the car moved back up to where it was before i cut the springs.

The rear has always sat high in my car, I vaugely remember the previous owner telling me he put station wagon springs in it... want to bring the front and rear down, but not too much.

Anyway, thanks!

I have one inch drop front coils, the rake looks very cool, problem is I ordered 235-60-15 Diamondback Redline front tires. A little to big with the front end dropped that low and if you turn a little to hard they will rub. Took the factory AC out too.

Cool, thanks for the pics!

The looks about the same as my friends 66 did when we put them in his car (i wasn't smart enough to take pics before he insisted we take them back out)

Hey rob, can you tell me more about the engine setup in that car? I know you said the ac was removed, but was it iron exhaust manifolds, iron heads, iron intake? aluminuim intake?

Just trying to guage how far down my car will be with them.... My friends sat identical to yours, and he was fully loaded with iron everything.

Thanks-
Ben

I don't have pics but I lowered my car 1inch with the Hotchkiss Springs and I love it! Best of both worlds not stock but not a drastic drop either!
