HELP 64 Starfire front A arm bushings
Well I picked up my starfire and drove it for the first time. Has some quirks but nothing too major except!!!
I happen to eyeball the front bushings and holy crap!!! they're all shot. The uppers are worse than the lowers. I happened to notice how close the uppers on the drivers side are to the exhaust....pppfftt nice!
Anyhow, so I've searched Moog, ESPO, Kanter, etc etc, and can't seem to find clarity. From what I understand the F-85 is different than the starfire, it was the same, that'd be nice. Ok then I came across this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/64-66...4506.m20.l1116
And I don't know if they're saying this part number is all the same for all those cars? If so I'd order Poly bushings as replacements.
I only have 3 weeks before I leave back overseas so I'd like to get this fixed ASAP.
Can someone enlighten me on crossover part numbers? or anything?
thanks in advance.

SPICER/RAYBESTOS Part # 5601019
MOOG Part # K6108
There is quite a difference in pricing for the two with the Moog parts running around $10.00 each and the Spicer (probably the same as OE) runs around $5.00. You should be able to get both from any half decent parts store.
The same part numbers would be correct for a JetStar 88 but would be incorrect for F-85.

There maybe other vendor options depending upon whether the bushings are oval or round. GM pulled some dumb stunts and some cars were shipped with one type on one side of the car and the other on the other side, or matched on each side.

I didn't have time to look in their catalog for your application but give PST a try.
