Frame interchange - 1978 & 1986

Does anyone know if the rear sections of frame is the same for these two:

1978 Cutlass Cruiser wagon
1986 Cutlass Supreme coupe

I am looking to buy a bolt on class II trailer hitch receiver from a guy with the 78 wagon. I may need to install it on my G-body 86 Olds Cutlass if I end up buying a small boat like I want.

Just wondering if the hitch would fit my 86. It bolts onto the rear bumper shocks and also further back upthe frame.

Thanks!

The G-body wagons (yes, I know the 78 is technically an A-body) have slightly different rear frame rails than the sedans, but I suspect this will not affect the use of that hitch. Conrad Lozier, who sells the repro frame rails, has pictures of all three flavors (sedan, wagon, and Elco) on his website.

Left is Elco, Center is sedan, and Right is wagon in the photo below.
