this might be an odd question. Is there a way that i can use/modify the doors from the 4 dr sedan parts car on my 4 dr hardtop. Or do i continue my search for hardtop doors?

 

You should be able to cut the outer skins off of the doors on the sedan and use it as patch panel for the hard top.

 

^^^This. The outer skins are close enough to use a patches. The lower parts of the doors are also able to be used if you need that. Trying to turn sedan doors into HT doors is MUCH more work. Window tracks and mechanisms are completely different, in addition to the obvious differences.
