Question couple questions

Right off I have a 1969 442.

1st, my transmission hump has a pretty good size hole (factory) on the driver's side up close to the gas pedal. What is this? Did my car have those multiple shifters on the transmission? And what were they called?

2nd, I discovered my radiator support is rusted on the driver's side pretty bad. What years interchange?

3rd- What frames 68-72 interchange on this body style style?
Thanks ahead of time!

A photo would help. There should not be any holes "up close" to the gas pedal, but up close is a relative term. There was only on factory floor shifter for the AT. Could have had an aftermarket shifter at one point.

1969 or 1969. Unfortunately core supports are one-year-only for the 1960s and early 1970s.

We'll tell you when you tell us what body style you're talking about...

1. take a look at this link: pages 210 and 312 should help you determine that hole. http://wildaboutcarsonline.com/membe..._-_Sec_1-5.pdf If it's a 69 442 it had a console with either an AT or SMT

2. Joe got that covered.
3. You can interchange any 2 door 68-72 Chevelle, Cutlass, GTO/T37/Tempest or Skylark frame. Since it's a 442 - it will automatically be a 2 door. Do you have a post coupe or a hardtop coupe?

Touché my friend! Point taken.

Well if its a 442 vert, that narrows down the options again doesn't it?

Also are my fenders also year specific?
