Convertible Top Maintenance
I just had a new top put on my '72. The original(s), two of them over the last 30 years, were vinyl and they both cracked within a couple years of new so this time I went with cloth. More expensive but less chance of cracking or splitting.
Since I have never had a cloth top before I am looking at what to use to clean it with out distroying the natural qualities of the fabric.
A search on the internet gave me several hits on a product called "Wolfsteins RAGGTOP", both cleaner and protectant.
Has anyone had any experience with this product?
Are there any recommendations for a better product or way to treat the cloth top?
I'll post a picture soon. I changed the color because I could not get the original color in a cloth top, but I think it looks good. I would be interested in your opionins also.
Thanks,
Robert
