Cleaning inside boxed frame

Have an A body frame I am messing around with, so far I have dug out the dirt and grease I could get at. Then pressure washed the outside and inside
(the best I could) Seems everytime I thought I was getting close a few new clumps would break free.
Never ending supply of dirt and grit.
Thinking about sealing holes and flooding with the hose since the pressure washer only seems to be good for angles it can get at.

Wondering what has worked for others?

That's an odd frame. It seems to be wider in the middle. Is this a standard boxed convertible frame?

Its a 67 El Camino frame. They are boxed just like a convertible or performance models.
Which is what makes it so much fun to clean out. LOL

It looks nice.

I'd get some sort of detergent/cleaner and mix it in with the pressure washer. Other than that, I'd rely on undercoating to be applied in liberal amounts to the inside of the frame.

You could send it to a metal cleaner such as Redi Strip... they can do complete car bodies as well. Their tanks are eight feet wide and about ten foot long. Another alternative is to have it galvanized. It gets soaked in an acid bath for a while then tenderly dipped into molten zinc...almost like doing chicken!

After doing as you are doing, I used a wet/dry vac and sucked all the left over sand, dirt, crap........

Wait what? you cook chicken in molten zinc?
Actually the last frame I did I had sand blasted. I have had a body acid dipped. Not in the budget this go around.
