Hi guys,

I just bought a 1971 Cutlass Supreme Convertible, which has a bad rear bumper....i'd be able to get a decent bumper from a 1970, but can i use that?
Obviously i'll need tail light assemblys, but what about brackets etc.?

Also to my mind the bumper from 1970 looks better, so while restoring i'd be happy to see that in my car....

I think the major difference is the lenses, as I recall the dimension on the bumpers were the same for 70, 71 and 72.

 

Yes, the bumpers will swap and fit just fine if you don't mind having the 1970 tail lights.
