Can a four door frame be used under a two door?

I have a 1970 four door that is in good shape and a two door frame that is screwed up. The guy before me had a 455 with nitrous and a jeep that stopped. I know the frame is longer but were. Is it easly cut...?

Seems easy to me, if you have a welder and the skills. Measure and measure and cut where the extra length is not needed. Somewhere in the middle, aft of the trans x-member, I would guess. Guide yourself by the body mount bolts.

Sorry, I didn't read far enough. Is it really worth all the effort instead of just getting a 112 chassis? They should be plentiful - Chevelle, Skylark, Tempest, Cutlass all used the same frames.

My plan on my 72 was to get a long rod I could hook up to a drill with a brillo pad on the end or some other kind of abrasive material I could affix to the end of it , and then pour some POR 15 in there . There seems to be a few different open spots on the frame to get to most spots inside there , but then again my frame is open on one side under the chassis making it a lot easier . I didn't put to much thought into this yet because I'm still trying to get other things done on the car first .

I thought about having ithe frame diped. It will remove the rust? But the local guy thaat can do this does not have a dip tank to seal the inside.

I thought about the POR15 but trying to get the full inside of the frame up front mostly.

I think I going to box the the frame? Thoughts?

I know the verts have to be boxed because the missing roof will make it sag in the middle . If your gonna have a lot of hp , it may not be such a bad idea . I think it will add strength to the frame . Maybe someone will chime in on this matter that knows a little more about it .
