A body frame interchangibility

wondering if a 72 cutlass supreme frame will fit a 69 cutlass? i thought they were the same other than the little indented spot on the rear axle hump by the wheel house.

Anyone? This would really help me save my car, and help Jensen make a sale!

all A body GM cars interchange from 68 to 72. Cutlass, Chevelle, Lemans and Skylark. there are some very minor differences but nothing that effects use or that most would notice

As noted, the answer to the O.P. is yes, but for completeness, here's some additional info on 1968-72 A-body frames.

There are four different wheelbases:

2drs (including Cutlass Supreme) - 112"
Monte Carlo and Grand Prix - 115"
4drs and flattop wagons - 116"
Vista Cruiser and Sport Wagon - 121"

The convertible and extended wagon frames are boxed. Others are open channel. The boxed convertible frames can be used under a hardtop. On the 1964-67 cars Olds offered this as the HD frame option.
