'73 delta 88 chrome strips

Starting to remove all the chrome strips, they're on just about everything
& all seem to have different clips etc., the ones that form the gutter on the sides of the roof line are the next to come off, would appreciate some advice there,

regards, Cus

Do you have a '73 Fisher Body Manual? If not, this should be your next purchase. It covers all GM models that year, and chapter 11 is devoted to exterior moldings. There are two charts in this chapter showing the 20 different ways that the 181 different types of moldings are held in place.

These are all over ebay. Here's one for $12 with free shipping. Can't beat that.

Yes, I have that manual, it's not very clear on removing the gutter trim though

By "gutter trim", I assume you mean the stainless on the drip rails. It is just snapped over the drip rail.

Get one of these.

Use the rounded end and gently pry the gutter trim up from the drip rail, starting at one end and working your way down the trim. I pad the opener with black electrical tape to avoid scratching the trim.

OK, turns out after window rubbers are removed the channel that the rubber is glued to is screwed through the gutter moulding, once screws are removed everything comes off. Thought I would ask before delving into the job
because there were no visible screws, anyway got it sorted now,
