Very cool. That's called a "broadcast card" from the label on the box in the upper left.

Here's the one from my '73 Custom Cruiser. It's a little easier to read. That list of codes ("A52", etc.) indicates options on the car, I believe. Paint codes are on the upper right. The date of the card (month, day) is at the upper left.

The prior (and original) owner of my car also found this card, which looks similar but isn't the same. Not sure exactly what it's called, but it does have the full VIN on it. Those are his pencil writings from the 1970s. At the lower right under the word "Always" he was adding the front and rear weights to get the total weight of the car.

I found two of those in my car!! One was inside the rear seat cushion (top) and one was stapled to the top left corner of the carpet (bottom) Here's a pic of them

The two are identical. Interesting, though. Obviously more than one could have been used during the car's assembly.

What's also interesting is that there are no codes in any of the boxes. Does your car have any options?

Other than power steering and brakes, and an automatic trans no it doesn't. It doesn't even have a vinyl top!

My understanding about the broadcast cards - Were used at/by Fisher body. Like many I too have found two of them - One under the front seat another under the carpet, The broadcast sheet (larger sheet with all options, plant build info, final assembly info) was used in the final assembly plant/ final assembly plant.

Correct, which means that they will only have info on them that is needed by Fisher Body. The 70-72 broadcast cards will have "W-30", for example, but early ones don't. Other option codes called out will only be those that affect Fisher Body.
