70 442 Rear Bumper Swap

What is the correct procedure to remove the rear bumper on a 70 442. I am getting conflicting info and will use the existing tail lights etc…

Not hard to do.

Disconnect taillights inside of trunk and push taillight wires down thru the rubber taillight wire gomments.

Remove tail pipe hangers from the side of the bumper brackets.

Remove the bumper braket to frame bolts, and pull bumper out and then down.

Thanks for the info RV...
My friend said I had to remove the braces and I did not think so...

I just disconnected the lights from the bumper and extracted the bolts...

It worked this time...
