67 C/S steering

Have a 67 C/S with power steering, The current system leaks all over the place and when it did not, the steering was not responsive enuff (factory I guess).
Have looked thru the service manual and can't figure out the stock steering ratio,, If its 3/4" or 13/16" shaft size? 30 or 36 spline? My car is buried under boat loads of winter things at this point. I know with allot of help I might be able to measure those in the summer time, but would like to purchase a new system now, with a quicker response. Need lots of help

Thanks Brian

Brian if using factory parts means anything to you. Going with a VIN code 9 Oldsmobile steering unit may do the trick. I have a 1987 442 in storage that came with it. Best steering feel I ever had in a V8 rear wheel drive Cutlass 1964-1988. Quick response, I believe half the turns of our A bodies units.

When I got my 67, the 'Grand Cherokee' conversion was the thing. I had Lee power steering rebuild and cal my pump to match the steering box. Also used there press in fitting adapter for the hoses. Got the rag joint from Dorman I think.
