does the frame from a 4 door match up the same as a 2 door?I'm new to oldsmobiles so not sure about all the swaps yet.i picked up a wicked rust free 4 door all original for parts for free.Thanks for any advice.

64-67 2 and 4 door used the same length frames. Starting in 68 they do not interchange.

 

A/G body wheelbase:

1964-67:
2dr - 115"
4dr and flattop wagon - 115"
Vista Cruiser - 120"

1968-77:
2dr - 112"
4dr and flattop wagon - 116"
Vista Cruiser - 121" (68-72 only)

1978-88:
2dr - 108"
4dr and wagon - 108"
ElCamino - 119"

 

I stand corrected I was basing my info off a 69 chassis manual and the info I have found on my 69.

 

Joe I understand that most A-body frames 2-4 doors are the same in terms of length but the concern is between the year is the front frame horns-matching those with that years bumper brackets? I heard that the 64-65 Skylark and 64-65 F-85 are the same, the front bumpers will bolt up but a 64-65Tempest will not?
