1965-64 rear quarters

Hello!, I am rebuilding a 65 442 and need rear quarters for rust repair behind the rear wheel area. I do, however have front fenders, was thinking of using the rear bottom of each fender for some of the repair, then using new 1966 rust repair panels to help fill in the rest........
Anybody out ther have some rear quarter sheetmetal thats rust free or close???, Thanks.

How bad is the rust, and is it just on the outside of the fender or on the inside trunk area as well? How are the mounts, trunk floor, and the area the the tail lights/tail panel meets the trunk?

Both sides behind the rear tires are about 70% gone, the wheel well arch on the left side is rusted out where the stainless trim is mounted. Body mounts are bad, trunk floor is about 60% good. I do have a brand new trunk floor with all the mounts however. Tail light area is good.

Third pic down, on the left.

.

As I remember it, the ¼ panels were in good shape.

Does this car still have any of the chrome left? Seat belts, dash, tail lights, tail panel? Any additional pictures would be appreciated

Dan 0. If the car in california is too far to work with...I do know a couple of folks on the east coast that may be able to help. One in alabama and one is mississippi. let me know. Sounds like the best option for you is put a new rear clip on the car. In the end a much cleaner repair, but a little harder especially if you want to work a little at a time.

Thanks for the feedback guys! It was beginning to think that I had the only 65 left on the planet! Say, if the quarters are good on that olds in California, I would be interested.

Does anyone have a source for shipping a rear clip from California to Wis.
The shipper that was to do this for me has dropped the ball, The salvage yard
will not palletize the rear clip, so most shippers wont touch it. Thanks!
