1962 Starfire Front upper control arm bushings

I need new front upper control arm bushings for my 62 Starfire. Fusick lists a pair for 1961 to 1963 full size cars. $103 for a pair plus shipping. Does anyone know of a less expensive alternative?

It seems Kanter sells them too. Their price is $89 for a set of "upper inner bushings." It's worth giving them a call for specifics. I don't know if they're Chinesium though.

Most of Kanter's "white box" parts are Chinesium, but there are no new sources of US-made parts. Call Craig at Mobileparts - he might have older new US-made bushings like Moog or TRW.

Thanks, Craig lives in the next town. I purchased most of the chassis parts for the restoration 18 years ago. He is an amazing source for part Numbers. Most of the time, he knows off the top of his head. I will give him a call.

I had to send a few items back to Kanter in the past. I'd rather give Mike at Fusick the business if there is only 10-15 dollars difference. He has been here for the Oldsmobile fan for a long time.

I meant to say that I purchased most of the parts from Craig. Thinking way faster than I can type.

1962 Starfire Front upper control arm bushings

Hi Craig, I will call you tomorrow. I have become so accustomed to searching the internet immediately, I didn't even think of the reaching out to you. You have to thank Joe for the recommendation.

Since we do know that Fusick is not making these parts, do we know from whence they come? Just wondering?

Unless you find NOS factory or old replacement parts like TRW, Moog, McQuay Norris, etc, anything new today is Chinesium.

What you have is VERY WRONG...

Cobra Glenn,
The new ones you have in your pictures ARE VERY WRONG.... They are NOT for a 1962 Olds Starfire....
The 1962 Olds Starfire uses those jumbo bushings that you are holding in your hand...
I have the 100% correct bushings....
 Always best to simply call me --- Craig --- 516 - 485 - 1935... New York...

I have the Lower Control Arm Bushings also, as well as the Upper & LOWER Ball Joints,
All Brand New....
