Long shot but looking for a special 1966 Oldsmobile 442

Like I said I know it's a long shot, but I'm looking to find a 1966 Oldsmobile 442 convertible that my mom and dad owned for years parents purchased it new. My dad sold it without my moms knowledge and it was her first love.. lol. He sold it about 10-15 years ago maybe longer and it was in rough shape back then. It was sold in the Annapolis Md area. I always told my mom that I would help her find it and we would restore it for her, if we found it and keep it in the family. Well my mom passed this year and I'm still going to try to find the car to keep it in the family it holds alot of memories for me as a kid.
When the car was sold it was green and had a sticker on the back the said "fish" it was my dad's cb handle lol. The vin# 338676m308802, I don't care the condition. If anyone has any information please let me know I would appreciate it.

I would try the Maryland DMV, and maybe some of the adjoining states to see if you can get a hit on the registration. We found a buddy's deceased father's 50 Chevy that way and he was able to buy it back, but it took awhile; the guy who had it wanted to play with it a couple more years. Indiana BMV was pretty cool about it.

Pretty sure the number of states that would divulge that information is getting to be fewer and fewer. Don't know if MD is one of the holdouts or not.

The California stalking and murder case (of a young woman whose address was given out by the state DMV) pretty much ended the ability to look up one's old car that way. Driver's Privacy protection Laws. Although it likely took decades to take hold nationwide. Of course there is likely "run arounds" by ponying up and paying a VIN inspector or private detective.
