This sure seems like a lonely place... No replies yet. I had a 78 Starfire SX coupe bronze tan interior and i liked the car quite a bit. It had a heavy safe feeling while it was a small car. It had a great stereo, tilt, auto, air, ralley wheels and ps/pb of course. My sister's car and had some problems with the engine cutting out maybe a fuel problem, so it was sold and replaced with a 85 Grand AM 2 door, 4 cylinder stick car that went 225K miles without a problem. I saw a 70's Olds Starfire in nice shape in Phoenix 6 months ago. I suggest you watch Craigslist and concentrate on areas with little rust potential. You might search for 75-80 models to give you a better chance to find one. If I had more space time and money I would have bought the one in Phoenix. Best of Luck, Trent in Los Angeles

Not a Starfire, but here's a 1977 Omega in Eugene Oregon for $760. Doesn't run but the body looks super straight.

Yes, I hope an Olds person saves and builds it. And at that price, but I don't have space for another project at this time.

Now its being offered for sale at $790. I don't know why people do that, but I've seen several Craigslist ads where the price goes up and down.

Found another one (a 1975) on Craigs in East Oregon:

Looks like it is parked in front of small office like a small home town dealer office. Only two photos and what you see looks nice. No lower photos to check for rust and no interior photos. White outside with base wheels and they want $4200. Regards, Trent in Los Angeles
