Hey gang, I had recently posted about my friend's blue 76 98 that has major frame and undercarriage rot. Well, he's agreed that it's time to find another car to make a clone of his car in her glory years.
I am looking for a light blue with blue interior 76 98 Regency Coupe with no rust issues...preferably a southern or western car.
Here's a pic of his car so you see what we're looking for.

Any leads will be much appreciated.
Thanks everyone.
I have no idea where to find a blue 76 98 regency. I do however know where to find a nice solid chassis. The pea soup mobile has a very good frame. Just a thought.

Hey Jim,
Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately, the 88 and 98 do not share the same frame. Even if they did, there is no way a frame swap is an option for this car. The structure of the body is too far gone as well and it would not survive lifting off of the frame. Not to mention the amount of time and effort it would take (me, most likely) to do it, is just not even remotely practical. It's a shame because I know of someone with a really nice 76 98 frame that is available but it's just not going to work for this application. Thanks again!
The 88 and 98 are the same car. As far as I know the only difference should be header panel, rear fenders / tail lights and bumpers.
They share quite a bit of parts but they are really not the same car. The body shells are different and the 98 frame is longer. The 98 only shares its frame with the Buick Electra. 88's are B bodies and share with other B bodies only, not C's like the 98.
