1965 Cutlass or F-85 coupe wanted
EDIT: ARGH! I didn't mean to post this in the for sale thread, my apologies! Can a mod help me move this to the Wanted thread?
Hello everyone. Most of you know me for my 65 Delta, but I have been on the hunt for a 65 cutlass ever since I bought my car.
Before I was born my mom had a 65 Cutlass coupe that she loved dearly when she was my age. She lent it to her brother one evening and he ran the car into a ditch, bending the steering knuckles and eventually leading to the car sitting under a tarp for a decade or two since nobody in the family was particularly inclined or motivated to fix it. I used to take the car cover off and play around in the inside of the car when I was a little kid. I always had dreams of helping my mom fix it up one day but it was not to be - the money wasn't there and my dad was never interested in helping her fix it up. Eventually we had to get rid of the car as the decades under the car cover in the rain had caused the body to almost completely rust out and my dad didn't want it around anymore.
Fast forward to today, I am looking for a 1965 Cutlass I can fix up for my mom somewhere near Eugene, Oregon that is a decent project. No major rust issues. Doesn't have to be running, but needs to be a complete car, decent interior and preferably with the Jetaway transmission. I have a couple thousand to play with but can't drop big bucks on a non-running project. Please reach out to me if you know someone interested in selling their Cutlass or F85!
Thank you for your time

StarGeneral, hopefully my 64 will be in the street soon. If someone walks up to seriously and says "I want that car" I may entertain an offer....and move on to building one more-that's it for me! Interested?
