Still looking for a 1970 W-31 2 door sedan with factory paperwork.

 

I've got a born & raised in arizona '70 F85 post car. Not a w31 though, but it is EXTREMELY rust free. I have the window sticker, ordered with silver? paint, 350 2bbl, black vinyl top, blue bench interior, AC, heavy duty cooling, am radio, safety sentinel speedo & manual drums. Not real keen on selling, but there is another Olds. that needs to live in my garage.

I think I saw your W-31 this afternoon Craig. Sitting in a garage in south Fulton county? Looks like something from Canada.

 

I just dropped it off at the body shop yesterday.

 

if your still looking , i have a friend that has a few w31 cars . all with proper factory docs.
a 68 4spd car , yellow and 100% stock. the 70 is the one. bench seat, 4 spd, post car.
i feel is one of the finest around it is red. not cheap.
he is in arizona for the winter. i can make a call and hook you up if you are still in the market.we are located at the il - wis border. i know this is an old post and just happened to run across it.

Hey, Craig . . . so I'm confused - did you find a car, then?

Otherwise, for the folks reading this:

- He wants a post coupe. That means he wants a F-85 or Cutlass S that's not a hardtop.
- He wants a W-31, so a 4-4-2 doesn't count.
- He wants a real car with documentation. He's not interested in a clone.

Hopefully this'll clear up any of the "I have a friend who has . . . " comments that might as well be offering a Mopar instead.

I have many Oldsmobiles and I'm always looking to buy special, documented cars. Right now, I'm looking for 1970 W-31 2 door sedans, W-30 2 door sedans, 1970 442 convertibles but no hardtops. I'll consider just about anything but if the seller wants big money it better have big factory supplied documentation.

yes tony is the person i am referring too. i am a neighbor and restore these for a living
i have helped him a few times on each car. i feel they are both nice. i personally know he will not touch these cars without proper paperwork.

When you looked at the add did you notice that this car a hardtop & that this entire thread is about the search for a post coupe?

 

Did you ever settle on a post car? I noticed 70 mentioned quite a bit. Any interest in a 72 W-30 car?

 

His wanted add is for a W-31 car not a W-30.

That said tell us more about this '72 Post coupe W-30 that you have. I for one am always interested in '72 W machines.

 

On Jan 17 he said W-30 cars also just no hardtops.

I have one person I am talking to about my car first. Just gauging interest here also.
