The cars weren't "scenic," as in pretty to look at (at least, that wasn't the intended meaning of the word). They were called "SceniCoupe," one word. The idea was that you could sit in the back seat, tilt your head back, look straight up, and see the sky rather than the car's roof.
And it referred to closed cars with the expansive back window, so there was no such thing as a "Scenic" convertible.
