Looking for cutlass's
Hey everybody Its Andrew
Im 16 years old and im from the Niagara Region in Ontario. My dad has handed down his 72 cutlass s to me. The reason he gave it to me was because its a rust bucket now because its been sitting for about 15 years. He put it away in a shed and hasen't touched it since. Its got a great engine. Newe cam for more lift, he shaved the heads, and flat top pistons. What Im looking for is a 69 cutlass s with good straight rust free body with bucket seats and console that i can drop that engine into. If anybody knows of anything in therir area please help me out.
Thanks Guys

Welcome to our site Andrew! You'll learn a lot from the guys on here, so look over the threads, and don't be afraid to ask questions. They will be happy to help you and advise you! They know their stuff!! So the car is too far gone - rusted - to be repaired?? That's sad. I like any kind of 72 myself! Heck, I like any Oldsmobile!! LOL!
I'm sure Jamesbo will chime in, in the morning... he's probably all tucked in for the night now!!!
Welcome aboard Andrew.Good luck in your search for a rust free 69
Because if you do find one you better be ready to shell out some decent money and if it has bucket seats etc then its worth more. When you pull the engine out of the 72 don't scrap it try parting it out first. My Cutlass is parked in my garage in Fort Erie and I'm always looking for parts.

Ya ill throw some pics up soon of it. Its really rusted though and the mice got to the interior. I still give my dad craqp for putting it away like that lol. But ya ive been looking off carigslist alot. Called a few people last night.
But what does everyone think is a good price to pay for a 69?

Andrew, It,s very hard to put a price on a car that can't be seen. But even a clean roller can go for a few thousand. As has been said here a 100 times a car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Dan,
Your Cutlass picture in your signature looks Awesome! I love how the car sits in foreground waiting to pounch down that country road! In fact, the spot of sun gleaming on the fender line almost fools the eye that the Cutlass is actually moving! Sweet work!!
