Looking a 66-67 442

Very good friend of mine is starting his search for 66-67 442, 4-speed car. Can be either a Holiday or a post car. Car needs to be all there-originality is key other wise he would have bought 67 in a heart beat. No rust buckets please. We live in the Dallas area, have a trailer to come and get the right car. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Perhaps you could extol the virtues of the switch pitch TH400 to him.

I have a friend who has an extremely nice 66 442... E block 400 4spd, no post, maroon w/ black vinyl top. This car is excellent.. Zero rust, fully restored 10-15 years ago and babied since then. It needs nothing.

I believe he has the pop & docs. He is ready to sell the car, but is not on the internet. I've offered to help him, but we have not yet started the process (pics, etc) . I imagine the price will be mid to high 30's once I see what paperwork he has to go with it.

If this sound like what your friend will be looking for have him email me and i can get him info as i get it. Ben@classicseat.com

Did he call on the one I posted? I'm interested in whether it sold or not. The price was good and it was very clean

I did not call on that one, figured since way up north it would be rusty.

I have a one owner 66 442 4 speed Tri Carb Holiday Coupe white exterior/red bucket seat interior for sale. It's frame off restored,3.90 posi,SS1 wheels/ redline radial tires. I have the window sticker and original sales contract. It was not an original tri carb car because it was built before the release date for the tri carb and the owner added the correct parts to make it a tri carb. The car needs nothing but a home, runs and drives great. This car belonged to one of my long time Olds friends that passed a couple of years ago. I bought it,a 64 442 Convertible,a 64 Cutlass convertible and a ton of parts from his wife. Contact me @ pchopesq@aol.com if interested.

Yes I am very excited to have the 66 442 coming to Texas, it was a great find. Mike is very gracious and a gentleman to deal with, made me feel comfortable buying the car. This 64 442 is a beautiful car, would love to have both in my garage. Good luck with the sale Mike.
