looking for a 65-67 with blown/missing drivetrain
looking for a 65-67 with blown/missing drivetrain
I have an original 66 425 starfire engine already rebuilt with the switch-pitch trans, console, tach and shifter that I've always wanted to put back where it belongs.
Been on the lookout for a rolling chassis that this would look good in and be "period correct". 2 door preferable, but anything considered. Wagons, sedans, convertibles, etc.
Preferably one not requiring major restoration. Something that was driving, but happend to develop a "rod leak" or was a good candidate for the old Aamco transmission commercials where the car rolled on the lot dropping trans internals all over the road...
If anyone's got something that reasonably fits the bill and it's somewhere close to Ohio, let me know what you've got.
Thanks!

I have a '65 Cutlass/442 clone that I was driving daily. I sold the engine/transmission/driveshaft to someone in hopes of putting my BIG engine back together. Due to a change of cicumstances, I realized that I won't be able to finish it for awhile, so it's available. I have many pictures of the car ready to be sent. You can e-mail me to discuss: drolds1@bellsouth.net. I'm in south Florida.
