Looking for a 442

New to Oldsmobile, but not to the hobby. I am a fan of B.O.P, I currently have 3 Pontiac's in my stable and looking for a 442.

#1 must be a 1970 to 1972 442 with documentation
#2 Must be a stick car
#3 Must be a # 2 or higher for car, no projects, rust buckets. a finished car
#4 Colour is not really a big deal, not a fan of red, like blue, Aqua, green , Oddball colours ok.
#5 would love a ram air induction hood but not a show stopper
#6 I have a realistic budget, prefer to buy in Canada if possible, 30 to 40 k if it's the right car.

Thanks
Shawn

What is the 3rd Poncho?

Dave in 2011 , John and myself went hard on the racing scene, over 30 events from Saskatoon, Edmonton, Norwalk Ohio, Woodward in Oregon. Had a bit of racing burn out. I build a 525 CI Pontiac Engine, currently look for a roller for it. I will be racing in Edmonton, Saskatoon , Mission and might make the trip to the hat this year.

The other Poncho is my 2002 SLP Firehawk, John's old car as he upgraded to a Callaway Corvette

The hard part is the 3rd pedal mandate. There are plenty of nice 70-72 OAI cars out there but 90% or more are automatic trans car.

We got our eyes open for you Shawn.

Thanks Dave,
I know it will be hard, On the Catalina, from the info I received, 7998 Cars built, 65% Hardtops, 35% Verts=5200. Stick cars 20% vs 80 percent Auto= 1000 cars. 389 Tri-Power less than 20 percent. My gut tells me less than 500 in that combination made. I know my odds are better with the Olds. I love the hunt for the new vehicle

I have a sweet 2nd. Owner #matching original 1967 Olds 442. I just finished the car about 6months ago and I am looking to move on to another project. It has the big 400 engine tri power and a the original 4speed hurst shifter. The car was painted a 67 midnight blue.

Thanks
Shawn

Congrats on your purchase... I'm sure you will be happy being part of the Olds world... Who knows, you may need another Olds to keep it company... Let the saga begin...

Congrats to Sean (slgenge) on the purchase & to Al (OldsAl) on the sale. A great Oldsmobile has found a new care giver. Glad I was able to be part of the transaction.
