Thanks jaunty75 most of those cars I have checked out (except 1) and they are either in rough shape or have been transformed into something kinda of ugly...
I have been searching & traveling for 7 weeks trying to find a solid 73 Delta 88 and never thought it was going to be this hard...Delta 88's not the most sought after car....

Have you found a car yet? If not, how about this one? It sounds perfect. No price is given, but from your comments earlier, it seems that price is not much of an issue.

This is in the most recent edition of Journey With Olds, the June edition, which arrived in my mailbox today.

Hey Jaunty75...funny you should ask because I drove to NJ 245 Miles & and the car was a total fake!!!! I mean the pictures... Yeah great....in person the undercarriage was a mess, the engine bay was cleaned & spray painted BS...the guy was asking 18k...I didn't even need to test drive the thing. I informed the seller he was "nuts" & dove home another 245 miles.."Pictures" Beware Buyers!!!!

Boy, that's surprising to hear. I would have thought an advertiser in JWO would have been a bit more on the up and up than a craigslist ad. Just shows the importance of checking anything out in person. Good thing you did!

If you need someone to take a peak at it!! I believe that Ithaca is about 55 min. away from me, maybe I can grab Greg Rogers along the way up for second set of eyes.

You'd think that, with his $12,000 asking price, he could put up more and better photos and a bit more of a description. Mileage? Engine? Options?

How about this one? To quote the entire listing, "it need a back window and a transmission."

Yes, and it also "need" about 10 zillion more photos and about 1000 more words.

Damn, I paid half that for one that was running, registered, and on the road, but with plenty of Northeast rot (pre-patched with sheetmetal ).

I saw this, too. $20,000, but, heck, for a 3,000 mile car, that's probably not an unreasonable price.

So I paid car appraiser(Stated Auto Appraisers) to check out the black Delta in Texas best $300 I ever spent... They sent me a report with pictures breaking down every part of the car...the good, the bad, the ugly....in the end the car had many flaws (undercarriage was full of rot) poor body work etc....They recommended 10K for the car & the asking price was $16,995 but I did not even make an offer....next up Buffalo NY

Have you looked at the white one on Cars-on-line in San Francisco??
It looks very clean, doesn't get much cleaner than that for the price.
