'70 442 body shell possible WTB ...just putting out preliminary feelers

This "WTB" ad is very preliminary and very tentative but may have someone looking for a VERY CLEAN '70 442 "S" body (no post) body shell.

In a perfect world it would be just the main body shell w/doors and trunklid and the original frame/chassis underneath. Looking for "as clean as possible" - meaning something without major rust issues (don't want a car that has had floor, trunk, etc parts already replaced......really want original sheetmetal "as is"). Don't want a car that has had quarters replaced either....just want clean originals with some of the typical "behind the lower/rear wheel opening lip" being acceptable.

What we DON'T REALLY NEED IS:

>Drivetrain (or would be fine with it just having a non-original "rollaround" differential in place)

>Hood

>Fenders

>Bumpers

>Grilles, tailights, any other exterior lamps, stainless trim, 442 emblems, etc

>Radiator support, radiator, wheelwells

>Suspension - although again, if one in place to keep it a "roller" then wouldn't argue with that

>Gas tank

>Trunklid - not mandatory but would pay for a real nice original if still in place...no rusted, "just needs a little patchwork" type trunklids

>Interior - Don't need anything....have a complete one already

>Glass - If real nice and in place then we would take that into consideration in pricing

>Wiring - Don't need any

Original VIN and cowl tag need to be in place (with "4487" designation) and not removed. Need a valid/clear title as well. Basically have the parts to put a 442 back together and the car that the parts currently reside on may not be worth throwing that kind of money at.

Again, just fishing around at this point and figured I would see if anything fits the bill. Basically a clean bare, "unmessed with" body shell (with doors and trunklid) sitting on its rolling frame.

Thanks
