61-63 f-85 parts car wanted

FOUND WHAT I NEEDED! Thanks everyone!

I would like to find a 61-63 f-85, Cutlass, Jetfire or even a Buick Special parts car. Prefer 62 Olds but any of the above would be ok. If you know of any in your area please post it. I am willing to travel for one if the price is right.

That one may be a little to far but thanks for posting it. I did just locate one last night in northern Indiana that I will likely be getting. I am still interested in another one though.

Eric,

Are there particular parts you're looking for? Scott Phillips and I have a 62 Jetfire parts car. It's pretty rusty, the turbo motor was long gone, and we've used some of the parts, but if you have some small specific needs, we might have those. It does have the original Jetfire automatic.

Not really anything specific that I am looking for. Well, maybe an NOS passenger side fender... I am in the early stages of planning the restoration of our 4 speed Jetfire. When I do a restoration I prefer to have at least one assembled parts car available during the restoration. The one I found in northern Indiana is disassembled. Pictures are great but it just can't compare to having another car to look at also. Even if it is a molested car (which most 61-63 cars are) it is still nice to have one together that can be hacked on.

Do you happen to have the cross flow radiator or the hold down for it still? the radiator hold down will work from either style radiator but the cross flow does not have the hole in it for the radiator cap.

I've got the radiator, we can talk if you're interested. Scott used the hold down and all the emblems on his car. We do have the side trim - I don't think Scott will be using it. The aluminum panels are pitted but the stainless is good. The hood (punched for the two spears) is in fair shape. Scott kept the spears.

What would you want for the radiator? How bad is the pitting on the farthest back section of the side trim for each side? The back part is pot metal. I would be interested in all of it if the price is right.

If the body is trash I would likely just be interested in those parts.

I for sure will take a buick also but based on conditions. For what is there it is to far away. If it was a little more complete or a little closer I would have it. It is 4 hours away. I need to check and see but if the side glass is the same as a Jetfire I may still want it. The Cutlass and f-85 are post cars and the Buick is a hard top like the Jetfire. Thanks for posting it

lol, My wife walked in as I was typing that reply. I told her about it and she said "well it is only $200, lets go get it", lol. I have the World of wheels show this weekend. I will call them tomorrow and see if they would hold it for a week if I pay for it up front.

I saw that ad and if it was an Olds I'd have beat feet down there to get it. I'd love to build a straight axle 61 F85 and that would fit the bill perfectly. Thats a heck of a deal even if only for parts.
