I am trying to find a 1979 Cutlass Calais T-Top car with blue interior. I had one back in 1988 and lost it in a garage fire. I would very much like to find another.

 

This one's a tough order to fill. But if you do find one with blue interior without T Tops, I have a few full sets of NOS Hurst Hatches which you can find a body shop willing to install them. These have smaller openings than the factory Fisher tops (check out my Hurst Olds album, you'll see a set of them on my 79 H/O). I can sell one of these sets, they are NOS in the Hurst box. They are the non anodized version (stainless steel). Not sure where you are located but I will be at the Hurst Nationals next week and my 79 H/O will be in the inside display.

 

But, honestly speaking, I'd really advise trying to find a T-TOP car. These Hurst Hatches are problematic as they tend to leak and if you plan on doing any kind of driving with the car I think they are even dangerous if you were to get into an accident.

 

I did find a blue int Calais on CL last month, and I would have no problem grafting in a set of tops. however when I called He decided to keep it. So back to searching... I have been looking now for close to ten years. It amazes me how rare this white whale is.
