1979 Calais Diesel/5 speed/T-Top

For sale; 1979 Cutlass Calais, 260 diesel, Factory 5 speed & T-Tops. {VERY RARE!!} Original Caramel Brown, Tan cloth interior, gauges, rallys. Only 34,115 actual miles. Rustproofed, minor surface rust. Asking $ 7500.00 Leave message. 651-428-4207 Minnesota

NADA claims low retail is $1300, high retail is $4800. These include the 10% reduction in value for the diesel.

JMO but I feel that this may be where rarity and desirability diverge. Its a weird combo but can't be that fun to drive

Again, I'm not trying to bust anyone's chops, but rarity does not equal value. Some things are rare for a reason, like Cutlii with three on the tree and Pontac Azteks...

If my info is correct from the GM Heritage Center, only 267 Diesels were built with the 5-speed. It was from a book that Helen Early used so it's not documentation but rather a sheet she prepared so I can't vouch for its accuracy. That's out of a total of 38,672 Cutlass Diesels.
