1971 442 Convertible

I am looking for another 1971 442 convertible to restore, It would be nice if it is an OAI car with options but not important, Rust is not an Issue, let me know what you have.
Thanks in Advance

Dan, that's the kind of car just about everyone is looking for. Good luck in your quest though. 71 - last year the 442 was its own model. Impressive list of std features for the car too back in the day.

I thought about inquiring about the white one on ebay from WI. Its through rawhide boys ranch. basically someone donated the thing and they use the proceeds to help theur cause. It looks all there but needs a resto. In the 6's now.

I really like the white with the center hood stripes, although I prefer black stripes instead of green like our all original paint convertible

That's a 71 442 with the Y73 hood stripe. It also has the early placement of the front bumperettes. They were later moved closer to the center because their wide offset allowed the center of the bumper to hit something first instead of the bumperette. They are basically cosmetic and won't absorb any collision damage.

It appears there's minor damage to the front bumper of that car anyway if you look at the lower sections - easy fix though.

Why don't you get the one you guys hauled from my place in 09? Doesn't get much better than that one. Last time I saw,it was looking real good.

Hey Brian,
Dan is going to town on that car and should have it done soon, yes that would have been the car for me, Guess I'll have to save my money for that 1971 Wcar project you have
