Ted??
This can't be. I thought that was a keeper. I know you don't have a 'space' problem. BTW that's the first time I've seen one of those VC stickers for a Canadian built car!

Hope she goes to as good a home as she's had for the last while.

Looks like it has soft ray tinted glass A01 as well. Good luck with what should be an easy sell

This is a Framingham built car......would the dealer have put VC sticker on?
It is a keeper , but I would like to save the 442 now....she needs attention!

Very likely the service department at the delivering dealership did. It sure didn't come from the factory like that. Cool reference to Oshawa though.

Solid looking car. If you want more visibility on the ad before going to ebay you can post it on my site as well: http://www.oldsmobilecentral.com/post-ad.php

I'll help make it more aware to Olds fans too.

All cars going to Canada got that decal on the valve cover. My Lansing built 442 has it as well. It is part of the Z49 Mandatory Canadian Base Equipment Modifications.

This is a Framington built car....so that explains the sticker! I always wondered
about it!

BUT, my Oshawa built 442 has this sticker on the wheel well!,...

And my 72 Cutlass doesn't have it at all and it got the Z49 Mandatory CBEM too.

I was doing some research yesterday and found the information about that sticker in the 1970, 71 and 72 Assembly Manual. Apparently they ALL got that sticker if being exported to us. Anyone with a 1971 or 72 find one on their car?

Ted,
Could you e-mail me whatever you have in the way of pics to gfmorlock(AT)hotmail.com ?
My wife has been asking me for a 70's Cutlass for a while and your car looks tempting.
I take it this is a good driver?
