Numbers matching, one prior owner, 50040 original miles, all original interior, original sheet metal, chrome and stainless trim. The car had been repainted with some minor repairs awhile ago, and was always garage kept but hasn’t seen a snow for the last 35 to 40 years. Prior owner had other car he drove in the winter. Car is originally from south central Illinois.
Purchased the car with the intent of converting it in to a clone 442, but found an original 442 instead. I could not bring myself to damage a survivor of the “60s” This is not a Mint car but I would not have a problem taking it to a local car show or driving it down the street and having people pulling up along side me and giving me the thumbs-up. Other then the paint job and some minor bodywork, this car has not been molested and is close to what it looked like when it was bought new.
