A ballpark price of what you think is fair might get you more responses. Otherwise, people might be reluctant to appear to be a "lowballer".

I shall be the first lowballer.......
I have available for trade, one bottle of Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey.

The best feature of this item is its ability to make you forget that you gave me the car for a dollar.

65 is my fav year for the starfire, so I am a bit curious.
Very far though.

That thing starting to get kinda beat.
I don't see you fetching more than 4 grand for it if someone REALLY wants it.
but then again..... people are dumb.

Check out this guy's post..... He is sane. AND his actually moves.

hey, don't you know these cars are gold.. rotflmao..
$32,000 for an old car with with dented trim that doesn't move..

Last year I went and looked at a 67 Cutlass with my brother in law, the guy thought he had a gold mine, he told us he wanted 4700.00, I laughed at him and we offered him 3000.00, he said that he was bringing it to a swap meet, I told him to make sure he had enough gas to get it home. This spring I saw him trying to peddle it off for 6500.00!! BWAAAHAHAHAHAH

It had a smashed front left side, the hood wouldn't latch all the way, rot holes in the trunk, a 330 with a jetaway, bench seat, power windows that worked, mismatching upholstery, no headliner. He told us it was a one owner car bought from an old lady. I could see him in the old womens house telling her he'd give her 500.00 for the old hulk and making her feel good about it.

Some people think they can retire off a car just because it doesn't have a catalytic converter.... all that does is hurt the working guys that want a hobby car.

I think you should get ONE MILLION DOLLARS! Either that or use a "LASER" to punch holes in the "OZONE LAYER."

That would be the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Man, we are way off the topic of this post now.

I'd give you $500 for that junker and that would only be if I could get it to run where it is and drive it back to Idaho.

If that is your car, you've got a set of brass ones then. 26K, means my poor ole 70 must be worth that anyway. Although he does have 18K bid, I'd take the 18K.

Haha, people were bidding on it just to be jerks.
Someone asked him if the house in the background came with the car.

OR....you could get a really nice one like that Wisconsin fella did a couple posts down.

CHooSe YoUr PiECes Of S*iT WiSely, PeoPLe.
They are all just barcodes and steel.

You rarely get your money back on a restoration when you sell, unless it's something that the culture deems desireable for whatever reasons.
My advice.....Pick the one that you like and fix it.

If you're in it for the money, pick something that a poor sucker will buy.

Obviously, this kid loves his Starfire greatly, and/or wants a lot of money.

Get a second job and start wrenchin', and you can keep it forever. The lot of money thing will never happen because it's your personal passion, the rest of the world will probably never recognize.

The 65 Starfire is in my personal top 3 of best looking 2door Oldsmobiles. But then again...... So is the 80-85 Delta 88.
So now you're probably thinkin...... ewwww This dude is crazy.
If you want to race, get a cutlass. Presenting a Delta or a Starfire at the track is like presenting a food stamp.
If you want to fix your fav Oldsmobile just for you. Start today.
