This sure looks like a CO member's car. Anyone recognize it? Auction is August 14-16, 2025.

67Abody…. watching the beginning of that video… I just realized that the 70 W 30 stripe kind of matches the 66 chrome molding.
Olds did a good job of carrying on traditional body styling back, then.

Ive thought that very same thing. You have to wonder in 70 if they didn’t go back to 66 and take some Styling Cues from that trim line. Looks good on both yrs for sure
Hey guys - Got a question. I think it's unusual that the car has a black vinyl dash pad and glove box when the rest of the interior is red? Could it have been this way OEM, or did the owner/prior owner just fail to find a replacement red dash pad and glove box when the rest of the interior was changed to red at some point? I'm also kind of wondering whether the dash pad is cracked with that red carpet cover on it?
That car has a maroon dash and pad, which is correct. Some of the interiors got darker dash than the doors, red got maroon, yellow got brown, white got black. The black and white pattern is a mainstay of Olds those years. There may have been a light blue, and it would've got the dark blue pad, which also went with dark blue interior. I think green and brown interiors were close to matching the dash, as was black. The one year only 67 triple saffron yellow ragtop, preferred ride of the late Ed Skaff, got a brown pad.

So is the car that’s going to Mecum in August the same car that is on Cars Online for sale.. red tricarb cars? Thinking they are since both are Cali cars.. that’s one beautiful tricarb L69 if it’s in fact a real one. Red on red. Gorgeous!! Asking 55k for one, other no reserve. That be interesting to see how it plays out. One would think 55k for a car that’s nice would have sold on cars on line. 66 cars just don’t get that many eyes on them like the 70,71 cars.
Appears to be same car Andy. I don’t know what you could buy it for, but if it’s as nice as it looks, it probably be a good deal in that range. You know what it costs to restore em, even doing most of your own work.
